Join us for 4 days of magical riding in picturesque Kerry.
Sneem is the ideal base for this year’s domestic training camp.
Over the course of 4 days we’ll take in chunks of the Ring of Kerry, the Wild Atlantic Way and infamous climbs such as Molls Gap, Windy Gap & Caha Pass.
Daily distance will vary from a minimum of 70 km to a maximum of 140 km over undulating terrain.
We’ll be staying in the Sneem Hotel Luxury Apartments.
The luxury Self Catering Apartments consist of 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, a large open plan living area and fully equipped kitchen with all the modern conveniences. The Apartments have stunning sea and mountain views, with generous balconies or terraces.
We’ll be dining in Sneem Hotel each evening. We’ll be dining “off menu” – high carb foods will be provided to keep us fueled for the following day.
Breakfast is self catered. There are kitchen facilitates available in each apartment – so bring some porridge!
We’ll have 4 rides over the course of the camp. The group will be split into 2 based on speed. An A1 Coach will be assigned to each group and act as a route planner for the day.
On the Bike Coaching
Your A1 Coach will offer tips on bike handling, nutrition, tactics and training advice over the course of the camp.
A1 Coaches will be conducting a 60 – 90 minute nightly seminar covering topics of key importance to the group. Eg Nutrition, Goal Setting, How to build the perfect winter training plan & Sports Psychology.
We’ll be airing live on Facebook our “A1 Training Camp awards Night” on the final evening of the camp.
There will be an option to purchase a full set of physiological tests on site. Tests will include: incremental ramp test, Maximum aerobic power test & full power profile.
A lactate test is ideal for anyone looking to access their fitness level, set their zones, gauge the effectiveness of a training block or gain deeper insight into their strengths & weaknesses.
It will be possible to book one on one time with an A1 Coach where they will dissect your lifestyle, goals and training and suggest ways to optimise for maximum performance.

1 on 1 Ride Skills Session
A one on one ride is the perfect way to hone your skills. There will be opportunity to head out before a spin or work one on one after the days training. These sessions are perfect for learning how to descend, corner and generally improve your bike handling.
60 minutes – 100 euro
How fit do I need to be?
You must have a basic fitness level and be able to cycle 100km without much discomfort. We can stream riders into various groups based on ability: racers, sportive riders, those who want to transition to racing.
Is Bike Rental Available?
There is no bike rental on site but please email me if you require bike rental and we can look to source a bike in Dublin and have it transported to Kerry for you.
Is it possible to book a single occupancy room?
Yes for additional payment of €40 per night. Please pop us an email if you would like this add on.
Do we have car support?
No, all rides will be self supported so please bring tube, pump and allen keys with you.
Do I need insurance?
We recommend each participant has their own health insurance.
